VBet goes into the French regulated market with a license
- Updated: 25th September 2017
According to ARGEL’s website, which is the regulator of online gambling in France, VBet was able to get a license to operate.
Vivaro Betting Ltd was announced by ARGEL as another regulated bookmaker in France.
VBet got a license for sports betting, valid for 5 years. The website isn’t fully operational so far, but very soon you can see France having their 14th license up and running.
Vivaro was founded in Armenia in 2003 and they soon got their license in Malta, Curacao and in 2016 in the UK.
Their platform and technology is the responsibility of the company Betconstruct. There is still one decision to make, which is if they will apply for another license, this time for online poker specifically.
I remind you that the French regulators ARGEL have a partnership with other regulators for a shared market on online Poker.
This deal has started to crack the barrier of a closed and centred on each country Poker.
Regarding this cooperation, ARGEL started in July to accept some applications for Poker with shared liquidity.
The regulator is expected to finally break the barriers imposed to Poker players until the end of the year.
But there was already a slight mishap on World Regulatory Briefing, which already admitted that maybe just on the beginning of 2018. – “C’est la guerre”..
