Utah Jazz vs Oklahoma City Thunder – NBA: The Utah Jazz have ended the regular season with a 48-34 record
The team from Salt Lake City got an important win in Game 3 in front of their own fans by 115-102 but the most important thing to not was the way the team presented itself.
After a poor 1st quarter, the team completely dominated during the 2nd and 3rd quarters and managed to gain an advantage big enough to then control and win the game.
Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio were 2 arrows pointed towards OKC’s defence, but I continue to say that these Quin Snyder’s Jazz play a lot of basketball and on their day, they can beat any team in the NBA.
This streak of 2 victories is very important for the team that, after a loss in Game 1 is now ahead of the series by 2-1 and with good conditions to win and gain an even bigger advantage.
Thabo Sefolosha is still recovering from injury.
Oklahoma City Thunder (48-34)
Billy Donovan and his players find themselves on a delicate situation. A loss here in this Game 4 could define a lot of things.
This OKC team that invested so much into this season sees itself between a rock and a hard place here.
If a loss would mean a 1-3 disadvantage, a victory would tie everything and give them back the home advantage in the series.
I highlight 2 negative aspects from Game 3. Russell Westbrook finished with 14 points and 11 rebound, going 5-17 from the floor and Steven Adams only got 8 points and 2 rebounds.
It is definitely noticeable that when these 2 players aren’t on the top of their game, the team doesn’t work.
Westbrook because he is the offensive engine of the team and Adams because, besides being dominant on the paint, he is one of the best defenders in the League.
The team felt the lack of production from these 2 pillars on that Game 3 and that resulted in another loss.
Utah Jazz vs Oklahoma City Thunder – Betting Tip and Prediction:
The margin for error for the Thunder is on the edge. Like I’ve said previously, a loss here would almost put them out of these play-offs.
I don’t see them recovering if they lose here, therefore, and according to what I’ve seen in Game 3, I think that an improvement on OKC’s game, which is obligatory, might result on a victory
In my opinion, the Thunder have everything to win here, despite not being favourites on the bookmakers, since they will approach this game as a decisive one.
