San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors Prediction and Betting Tips
- Updated: 22nd April 2018
San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors – NBA: The San Antonio Spurs have
ended with a 47-35 record.
LaMarcus Aldrige and company aren’t going through their best stage at this time of the year. In recent years, despite things not always going well on the decisive moments, these Spurs have never seemed to be doing so poorly like they are doing right now, with the team looking very discouraged.
We have an ageing team, with some young players that still seem to be very unexperienced and with a lot to improve such as Kyle Anderson and DeJounte Murray.
If we look into Pau Gasol and Tony Parker, they don’t even look the same, but what’s certain is that age is starting to weigh in. Danny Green, that should be a player appearing more on the team at this stage has been playing very poorly.
All that’s left for this team is that they have reached the play-offs for the 21st consecutive year, which is a very important accomplishment and never before seen in the NBA.
They have players like Aldridge, Patty Mills, Manu Ginobili and Rudy Gay, but Kawhi Leonard is heavily missed on this team, in every aspect. However, I still see the Spurs being out of touch, very fragile on defence and slow making decisions on the attack.
Golden State Warriors (58-24)
Steve Kerr never imagined finding such a favourable series against the Spurs, I think not even in his best dreams, but what’s certain is that the Warriors, without Stephen Curry, with the Warriors dominating and fully controlling these games against the Spurs. The series is 3-0 and is very close to its end.
The current NBA champions, that even tend to struggle when playing in San Antonio, but they had an excellent performance and took an important step towards advancing.
Stephen Curry, David Boucher and Patrick McCaw are confirmed absences for this game 4.
San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors – Betting Tip and Prediction:
My prediction for this match is the San Antonio Spurs’ victory.
It is true that they are playing poorly, being out of touch, with an ageing team, and with their coach Popvch going through a rough period due to the death of his wife. Leonard and the rumours also aren’t helping, but here I will go for the pride and honour of the Texan side.
I think that we will have a more relaxed Warriors’ team, because the series is totally controlled and favourable for them, which means it’s the same for them whether they close in game 4 or in game 5 already in Oakland.
I even believe that everything that’s behind this poor moment of the team results on a good performance, a better impression of what they’re worth and these players, so I really think this will be a win for the hosts.
