Greece vs Estonia – 2018 World Cup Qualification Prediction and Betting Tip Preview

2018 World Cup

After the Greeks’ miserable performance in the Euro 2016’s qualification stage,

where they ended last, they seem to be doing a lot better now.

On a group that was kind of easy, the Greeks have showed up on the Qualification for the World Cup in Russia “fresh-faced” and they are at the moment, in a good position to ensure their 2nd place in the group, which gives them access to the play-off.

With a good start, but nothing too crazy, the Greeks have won their first 3 matches, but those were matches they really should win, against Gibraltar, Estonia and Cyprus, all teams that are still a few levels below the Greek team.

But the more epic results were yet to come, with 3 draws, 1 at home against Bosnia, and 2 away, at Belgium and, once again, in Bosnia.

The 1st place of the group shouldn’t escape the Belgians, which leaves Greece fighting for the 2nd place along with Bosnia, who is just 1 point behind.

Which means the Greeks really need to win this match, to ensure 3 more points in the fight for 2nd place, especially since Bosnia will have to play away from home in Cyprus, which isn’t very easy.

Certainly, the Greeks will not want to waste that opportunity, if it indeed comes.

Greece vs Estonia –  Betting Tip and Prediction:

Skibbe, the German manager responsible for the Greeks’ recovery after the disaster of their last qualifying campaign, has improved their defensive organization substantially.

With them having only 3 goals conceded in 6 qualification matches, and in this match against one of the weaker teams of Europe and of this group.

He should try and maintain that record, controlling the match, winning without any brilliance or any big margins, but being objective and keeping their defence organized.
