Everton vs Manchester City Betting Tip and Prediction
- Updated: 6th February 2019
Everton vs Manchester City – Premier League :Everton currently sits in 9th place of the Premier League with 33 points conquered.
They host at Goodison Park the vice-leaders of the Premier League and current champions, Manchester City, with 59 points conquered.
Marco Silva has been making a reasonable campaign in the Premier League, taking into consideration the quality of their roster.
This season has been marked by the inconsistency in terms of results, where in 26 rounds, they were only able to win on 9 occasions and already count with 10
losses, having drawn 7 times.
In Liverpool, in front of their own fans, the team has recently been a bit below the expectations, only being able to win two matches of the last 7, one of them being against Lincoln that are in the 4th tier of English football, on a match for the FA Cup.
Jagielka is out while Baines and Mina are still doubtful.
Man City is currently in 2nd place of the Premier League and they saw the disadvantage to the leaders Liverpool drop to only 3 points, after Jurgen Klopp’s team conceded a new draw, the 2nd consecutive one, this time, against West Ham.
Pep Guardiola’s team is currently “unstoppable” only slipping up once in the last 10 matches played in all competitions, against Newcastle, winning the remaining 9 encounters. Kompany is a confirmed absence and Mendy is doubtful for this match.
Everton concedes several goals in front of their own crowd, being the 7th worst defence on home matches in the league, and against a team that scores in practically every match (in 12 matches away from home, they’ve already scored 23 goals, currently being the 4th best attack away from home), I predict an open match and with goals.
Everton vs Manchester City – Betting Tip and Prediction: :
The team from Manceshter comes into this match with a high motivation after a new slip up from the leaders Liverpool and if they want to have the opportunity to renew their title, they can’t waste any more points in order to avoid seeing the rivals from the city of Liverpool (same city as Everton) escape.
Therefore, and with more or less difficulty, I see Pep’s pupils winning a match that has everything to be exciting and have goals.
