Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks – NBA: The team from Boston comes into this
Game 5 coming off 2 losses in Milwaukee, the last one by 102-104 on a game that was only decided in the final possessions.
Even with important absences heading into this match and for the rest of play-offs, in Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart and Daniel Theis.
I see the Celtics having a roster with the ability to defeat these Bucks. Their coach Brad Stevens counts with a lot of talent on his team. Let’s look at Jaylen Brown’s stats, who has 34 points and 8 rebounds, going 13-24 from the field and Jason Tatum, who has 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, going 7-16 from the field in Game 4.
Al Horford, Marcus Morris, Aaron Baynes, Terry Rozier, Greg Monroe and Shane Larkin are other valid options on this team’s rotation.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and company’s Bucks have taken advantage of their home court in Games 3 and 4 of this series, recovering from the 2 losses at the TD Garden.
Against a Celtics’ team that is looking fragile due to the absence of two of their biggest stars, I believe that Milwaukee’s odds have increased drastically.
However, and taking into consideration what I’ve seen on these 4 games, I didn’t see that big of a difference in terms of quality between these two sides, quite the opposite actually.
The Bucks are yet to show more quality than these very young Celtics. In terms of game plan, I see that the Bucks don’t have as much skills as the Celtics, despite having a roster with several solutions.
A lot of times they seem to be somewhat lost with what they need to do. The center John Henson continues in doubt for this game due to a back injury.
Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks – Betting Tip and Prediction:
My bet here goes to the Celtics that, on the return to the TD Garden will want to show their worth and that, despite the absence of their biggest stars, these youngsters have room to grow and progress. Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum and Terry Rozier are perfect examples of that.
From what I’ve seen in this series, everything leads me to believe that the home advantage will once again be decisive, just like it has been so far.
